The idea of this project came to life during
ordinary lessons of Portuguese and Literature in the 6th grade of Elementary
School, with students aged 10 and 11. Since the beginning, our purpose was
encouraging the habit of reading: and reading for pleasure, with no obligation.
After we achieve this first goal and as a social project, we intend to
encourage the habit and pleasure of reading in the families of these students,
going beyond our own walls at school.
The LeiturAndante project is made possible
through the exchange of positive experiences with Literature teachers in Brazil
and other countries and through the partnership with your company which,
together with us, will contribute to the expansion of the number of Brazilian
readers.
